Up Up in the Sky Ranch!

Holiday would be one of the perfect time for some leisure trips and travel. So, while reminiscing Jose Rizal’s life last December 30, my family and friends spent the day in Tagaytay’s newest tourist destination – Sky Ranch.
The Sky Ranch facade.
Sky Ranch was developed by SM Commercial Group and SM Development Corp. and still in the process of redefining the land to a much scenic and exciting place to visit. The place’s amusement park called Sky Fun was what attracted us to the place.

The entrance fee does not include rides. You still have to buy tickets from the ticket booth for the rides. Good for us because we are the only people that day who has availed the ride all you can tickets. That was because we booked for it.

Since the place was still new, the rides were not as many and as in the other amusement parks. However, they offer other enjoyable trips such as horseback riding (Sky Loop) and zip line which is one-way and two-way. They also have a lot of gazebos that you could rent for a place to eat and stay inside.

Super Viking for a thrilling ride!
Star Cruiser for pair bonding!
The main attraction of the park was the Sky Eye. At 207 feet, it was said to be the country’s tallest ferris wheel. Its passenger capsule were enclosed and with air-conditioning units. Well, that fact didn’t make any changes on how we feel because it is also a fact that the cold air was not an unusual thing in Tagaytay.

They said that when you’re already inside, it offers a majestic view and I had proven it right. I was like “WOW!” while viewing the Taal Volcano at 207 feet. I also found the place very romantic because of the awesome sunset and the stunning lights at night.

"Beautiful."

Our day in the park ended with a striking fireworks display. I felt that we were really at the right time visiting the place. The whole Sky Ranch experience was not as spectacular as the other's have experiences but the memory of it is.
